Palmares Bustamante is a photographer, costume designer, and sewist based in Brooklyn New York. She began her journey by majoring in technical theater at Fiorello H. LaGuardia. She worked as a draper and designer in several of the productions, most notably Chicago and The Addams Family Musical. She then went on to continue her work in sewing as a teacher's assistant with Sewho sewing studio, and as a stylist/dresser for New York Fashion Week. When she isn't behind the sewing machine, she is working on building her non-profit organization, Liminal Family Photography Project. She is interested in continuing on her path to use art as a tool to improve and diversify the community.
